Business leaders celebrate a bustling year

Mississippi's top business leaders celebrated a year of progress and promise on Tuesday at the Gulf Coast Business Council's monthly board meeting.

Council members pushed for wind pool reform legislation, a GO Zone Act extension, master transportation studies and a regional water and sewer board. The group also created the nonprofit Renaissance Corporation to help deal with the affordable housing crisis. More >
