New Orleans Company Seeks Casino Zoning in Biloxi

RW Development is bullish on Biloxi, with the first South Beach tower going up on the beach near Rodenberg Avenue and now a mixed-use project - including a casino - heading to the Planning Commission for approval.

Estimated to cost $700,000, this development would bring the New Orleans company's total investment in Biloxi to more than $1 billion. More >

New command eyes Keesler - Could bring up to 10,000 jobs to Biloxi

Keesler Air Force Base is one of 16 finalists to become the nation's headquarters in the fight against cyberterrorism.

That includes several generals, about 500 "high-salary, high-ranking" Air Force personnel and thousands of civilian employees. The average command comprises about 12,000 people and contractors, industry and possibly a Mississippi State University engineering-technology center would follow the Cyberspace Command to the Coast.
